Penn Capital Management Company, LLC (Penn Capital) is a boutique, SEC-registered investment management firm based in Philadelphia, PA. Since our founding in 1987, we have combined institutional-quality fundamental research with the availability and accountability of a boutique firm. We manage multiple investment strategies focused on publicly traded companies in the micro to mid-capitalization range, as well as issuers of non-investment-grade debt.
In July 2024, Seaport Global Holdings, LLC, a leading capital markets firm, became the majority equity owner of Penn Capital through its subsidiary, SGAM Advisors LLC, adding the resources of a broader capital markets organization while preserving Penn Capital’s boutique investment model.
