Philadelphia, PA - PENN Capital Management Company, Inc. (PENN) is pleased to announce that David Jackson, CFA, Marty Keane, and Stephen Loizeaux have each been promoted to Partner effective January 1, 2012.
David began his career with PENN in February 2008. Most recently, David was an Associate Director with the Financial Institutions Group at Fitch Ratings in New York City, where he assisted with rating coverage of the specialty finance sector. Prior to Fitch, David worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on the bank supervision and regulation team. David currently serves as a Portfolio Manager for PENN’s Distressed strategy. David received a BS in Finance from Rutgers University School of Business.
Marty began his career with PENN in April 2009 as Vice President of Information Technology. He now serves as Chief Technology Officer. Marty has over 24 years of experience in the engineering and technology industries and holds a number of IT industry certifications. Prior to joining the firm, Marty was Vice President of Business Technology for Rittenhouse Financial Services and later, Vice President of Managed Assets Business Technology for Nuveen Investments. Marty's focus was on developing the strategic vision and tactical application of technology. Marty is an active member of The Money Management Institute and holds various leadership positions within the Technology/Operations Committee. Marty received an AS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Information Technology Management.
Stephen began his career at PENN in March 2008. Stephen is responsible for servicing institutional clients as well as marketing to national/regional consultants and plan sponsors in the Southeastern US. Stephen has over 28 years of experience in institutional money management sales and client services. Prior to joining PENN, Stephen served as a Vice President of Institutional Sales & Client Services with Prudential. Stephen received a BS in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
